Dan Mokgwetsi (Chairman)

As Chairman of the Hutech International Group, Dan's primarily role is to provide strategic direction for the Group. He graduated in B.Com Honours with Specialisation in Human Resource Management from the University of South Africa and caries multiple diplomas and certificates in Executive Leadership, Risk Management and extensive skills based short programmes particularly in Human Resources Management & General Management.

He has a broad range of extensive experience in Human Resources Management and assisted a number of companies by playing an instrumental role like Management Training Consultant in companies of the caliber of Anglo American, De Beers, as Executive HR Manager at Pick n Pay which is a State IT Agency, as CEO at Matla Portfolios and as COO at Thakana Trading Enterprise.

He was the member and deputy Chairperson of the board of trustees (U-Med Denel Medical Scheme), Board member of Magalies Water Board and De- Beers-Premier Mine Local Area Fund. He was also the trustee member of Retirement Pension Fund. He was very enthusiastic about SITA's (South African Information Technology Agency) Transformation agenda and played an instrumental role by initiating and developing a training scheme for mining graduates. Dan was a key player in establishing a section 21 company for SANCO- Pretoria Regio and served as Chairperson of the first executive committee for the first transitional local government at Cullinan.
